CROSS Cabinet The advanced control logic of CROSS Cabinet provides the highest safety for the load, through a 'break before make' switching, available for any UPS operational mode and any kind of load. The possibility of integrating the CROSS Cabinet with customers' Power Distribution Units (PDU) eliminates the need for switches. CROSS Cabinet is provided with inputs for the external switching devices’ auxiliary contacts. An LCD display visualises over 50 of CROSS Cabinet’s operating parameters. The messages can be accessed by pushbuttons and the text is available in six languages. Key features - CROSS Cabinet ensures redundant power to critical loads though the ability to switch between two alternative single-phase power sources.
- The 'fixed priority' mode of operation allows the user to select the preferred input line enabling the CROSS Cabinet to transfer to the priority line whenever its parameters fall within certain values.
- The 'no priority' mode allows the CROSS Cabinet to treat both lines as equally acceptable.
- The Break Before Make (BBM) modality on both poles, ensures that the two sources will never be directly connected.
- CROSS Cabinet ensures the switching between independent AC power sources in both synchronous and asynchronous conditions, relative to the input waveforms and within CBEMA guidelines.
- Emergency switching allows the load transfer to the alternative source in only a few milliseconds.
- Ability to recognise a short-circuit downstream, caused by loads or distributions.
CROSS Chassis CROSS Chassis ensures maximum reliability to critical loads by eliminating system failures that are caused by problems in distribution rather than by the failure of the power source itself. The advanced control logic of CROSS Chassis provides the load with the highest safety through the BBM switching device which is available in any mode of operation and with any kind of load. CROSS Chassis can be fully customised according to customers’ load and environmental requirements. Key features - CROSS Chassis ensures redundant power to critical loads through its ability to switch between two alternative single-phase power sources.
- 'Fixed priority' mode of operation: CROSS Chassis will transfer the load to the chosen 'priority' power line whenever its parameters fall within certain values always in accordance to the user’s selection.
- The 'no priority' mode allows CROSS Chassis to consider both lines to be equally acceptable.
- The BBM modality on both poles, ensures that the two sources will never be directly connected.
- CROSS Chassis ensures switching between independent AC power sources in both synchronous and asynchronous conditions, relative to the input waveforms and within CBEMA guidelines.
- Emergency switching, allowing the transfer to take place within milliseconds.
- Downstream short-circuit recognition, caused by loads or distributions.
